High-End Tape Solutions Version 5 000-207考試隸屬於System Storage 2009認證考試體系。獲取此證書將會驗證考生在廣度和深度系統中對存儲產品組合的高水準技術的理解和經驗。為了達到IBM 認證高級技術專家—-System Storage 2009，考生必須通過四科考試包括兩科核 心和選修考試。
考生要通過High-End Tape Solutions Version 5考試獲取證書之前，必須要具備兩年的技術支援經驗；IBM 開髮式存儲系統平臺與208測試其他技能經驗；Total Storage產品以及907測試經驗；能夠有效的在高端磁帶，NAS/SAN，DS4000，TSM5.4等產品環境中獨立工作。而通過了000-207考試也可以瞭解這樣的技能。
要想取得High-End Tape Solutions Version 5證書必須要通過000-111(IBM Systems Storage Distributed Systems v7)；000-907(IBM Total Storage Productivity Center V3.3 Implementation)或者000-002(IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center V4.1 Implementation)考試，兩項選修考試是從000-206，000-207，000-113，000－899四科考試中任選兩科。
